It’s indoor racing season in Oklahoma. One of the biggest weeks of racing is set to begin.
And ahead of that, on Monday night, Kyle Larson went racing in Australia. He claimed a $100,000 win at Perth Motorplex.
“My flight is at like 5 in the morning,” Kyle Larson said from victory lane in Australia.
Larson will fly from Australia to Oklahoma and jump backwards in time like a time traveler. He’s set to run in the Tulsa Shootout.
Other NASCAR drivers in the show
Larson isn’t the only Kyle from the world of NASCAR on the entry list. Kyle Busch is also returning to run in the 2025 Tulsa Shootout.
Brexton Busch, the son of Kyle Busch will also be racing in the event.
Christopher Bell is returning to the Tulsa Shootout for the first time in three years. He joins the field after Joe Gibbs Racing lifted the ban on their drivers running dirt races.
The Tulsa Shootout is a huge micro racing event that takes place indoors of the Tulsa Expo Center. The race is run on the same track at the Chili Bowl Nationals, just days ahead of the dirt midget race.
The Shootout runs from practice day on December 30 through the finale on January 4th.
