Country Thunder Florida was set to be one of the biggest country music festivals of the year for the Sunshine State. Slated for October 18-20, the festival would have featured Jon Pardi, Luke Combs, and many more. Unfortunately, Hurricane Milton ripped through Florida just days before the festival leaving Heritage Park in Kissimmee and many other places in the state in ruins. As a result, organizers canceled Country Thunder Florida and promised refunds. Three months later, many ticketholders are still waiting to get their money back.
Country Thunder Florida organizers announced the cancelation and refunds in a statement. Part of that statement gave ticketholders an idea of when they would get their money back. “We will contact each ticketholder within 30 days with instructions to access refunds and appreciate your patience in this process. We will also provide updates on our social media so everyone can stay informed,” it read, in part.
Until recently, many ticketholders were still waiting to get their money back. Finally, after three months, festival organizers have announced that all refunds have been processed.
Country Thunder Florida Refunds Are on the Way
Earlier today (December 27), organizers took to the Country Thunder Florida social media accounts to announce that all refunds have finally been processed.
“We are happy to confirm that all refunds for Country Thunder Florida 2024 were processed on our end by Friday, December 20,” the message read. “If any fans haven’t seen the funds in their account yet, please note that it may take additional time for the banks to complete the transaction. Due to the holidays bank hours are affected and may cause a delay. Thank you for your patience.”
It is unclear if Country Thunder Florida ticketholders have received their refunds at this time. Festival organizers disabled comments on the post announcing the refunds. As a result, it is impossible for anyone to voice their thanks or grievances on the post.
Organizers have already announced a new location and lineup for Country Thunder Florida 2025. Riley Green, Blake Shelton, and Jelly Roll are set to headline the event. Clint Black, Chayce Beckham, The Kentucky Headhunters, and many more will also perform.
